New Delhi has said diplomatic channels will continue to be used on resolving standoff between armies of India and China in Doklam area. <br/><br/>Replying to a media query, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay said there was conversation on a range of issues between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping at Hamburg in Germany, and diplomatic channels remain available to both sides for a resolution of standoff in the Doklam area. <br/><br/>On query on Indo-Pak ties, Mr Baglay said, the central issue between the two sides is cross-border terrorism perpetrated on India. He said cross border terrorism emanating from a particular source is threatening peace and stability in the region. <br/><br/>The spokesperson said, India's position on addressing all issues including Kashmir with Pakistan in bilateral framework has not changed. Mr Baglay was replying on China saying it is willing to play constructive role on Kashmir issue and improving ties between New Delhi and Islamabad. <br/><br/>Asked about Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav who is in Pakistan custody for alleged espionage, Mr Baglay said, there has been no progress on consular access for Mr Jadhav. He said, India has not got any information on change in visa and consular positions in Jadhav's case by Pakistan. <br/><br/>Replying to a media query, Mr Baglay said efforts are on to save the life of 39 missing Indians in Mosul. He informed that India has requested Iraqi authorities to expedite their search. <br/><br/>On Father Tom, who was abducted in Yemen, Mr Baglay said, Father Tom is alive and India is committed to ensure his early release.He said authorities of both the countries are in touch on the matter. <br/><br/>On Vijay Mallya, the spokesperson said, process for extradition of Mallya is underway. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Prime Minister Theresa May had discussed the matter on the sidelines of the recently concluded G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.
