New Delhi reacts strongly to US remarks on India over Paris climate change talks

India has strongly reacted to the US comment on India on the coming climate change talks in Paris from Monday. <br/><br/>Talking to newsmen in New Delhi today the Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Prakash Javdekar said that the comments of the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, is uncalled for, untrue and unfair. He said, India will participate in the coming Paris talks with hope and positive attitude to make it successful as articulated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at various fora. <br/><br/>Reiterating that the climate change needs to be globally tackled, Mr. Javdekar said that India's Intended Nationally Determined Contribution, INDC, is widely appreciated where India has committed to reduce carbon emission upto 35 percent by 2030. <br/><br/>Mr. Kerry had described India as a challenge in the coming Paris talks on climate change.
