New Delhi all set for India Economic Summit

The three-day India Economic Summit gets underway in New Delhi today. The summit, to be opened by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, will be attended by more than 800 delegates from 40 countries. Several cabinet ministers, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, business and industry leaders from home and abroad will take part in the summit. AIR correspondent reports that the theme of deliberations at the summit is India's next generation growth. The summit coincides with World Economic Forum, celebrating 25 years of its collaboration and engagement with India.
