In Lakshadweep, a new Coast Guard Station was commissioned at Androth Island Thursday. The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command Vice Admiral K N Sushil commissioned the new Station, ICGS Androth. Besides Androth, Coast Guard has stations at Kavaratti and Minicoy. An Air Station of the Indian Coast Guard is on the anvil at Minicoy.
