In Gujarat, the newly elected government will be sworn in on 26th December at Sachivalay ground in Gandhinagar.<br/>'<br/>State BJP president Jitu Vaghani and Senior BJP leaders handed over the letter of formation of the government before Governor OP Kohli today. Following which, the Governor invited BJP to form the government.<br/>'<br/>Mr Vaghani told media that BJP National President Amit Shah and all the senior leaders of the party will be present for the ceremony. He said Chief Ministers of all the BJP ruled states have also been invited to the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also likely to attend the the swearing in ceremony.<br/>'<br/>Meanwhile, Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited Gujarat today. Mr Gandhi offered prayers at Somnath temple in Saurashtra. Later, he held zone-wise meetings with the newly elected MLAs of Saurashtra, Central Gujarat, South Gujarat and North Gujarat in Ahmedabad today. <br/><br/>Mr Gandhi appealed the leaders to strengthen the organisation of the party and discussed the roadmap for 2019 Loksabha polls.
