Just five days left for active campaigning for the assembly election a never before political tussle is underway in Kerala. An aggressive Congress led UDF is attacking the ruling LDF from all sides for its alleged failure to bring about development. As tit for tat LDF blames Congress and the Centre for corruption and escalating prices of essential items. In the midst of this BJP, offering Modi model development in Kerala, is confident of opening account in the state assembly. Meanwhile, Election Commission has further stepped up actions for effective implementation of model code of conduct. Democratic process of god’s on country is on a different mode these days. A few days left for active campaigning, to win over the voters political parties seem to forget norms of dignified politics. While the front line campaigner of ruling LDF, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, levels allegations against all political opponents, UDF is targeting Chief Minister and his son for misuse of office. At the same time, BJP denounce LDF and UDF saying both fronts are least interested in Kerala’s development. Meanwhile, Election Commission has further stepped up monitoring of poll related expenses and paid news phenomenon. To create further awareness among voters a special magic programme will be unveiled at the initiative of the Commission.
