Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again ruled out the possibility of settlement freeze in East Jerusalem.

According to a statement of Israeli foreign ministry, received by AIR in Dubai on Sunday, he told this in an interview to Israeli channel two news. Mr. Netanyahu stressed that there will be no freeze in Jerusalem, not now, not later.

The settlement freeze has been a major road block in middle East peace process as Palestinian president wants settlement freeze before any talks.

In reply to a question on Iranian support to Hezbollah in Lebanon, Mr. Netanyahu said that Israel is witnessing Iranian meddling both direct and indirect through the Hezbollah.

He charged that weapons are flowing from Syria through the Lebanon-Syria border, both from Iran and from Syria and its flowing to the Hizbullah – indisputably. This is in blatant violation of Security Council Resolution 1701, he added. Iran and Syria however deny these charges.
