BJP has accused Congress of doing petty politics over the issue of making public files relating to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. It alleged that the opposition party had ignored the contribution of great freedom fighters and demanded that it should apologize to the nation. BJP Secretary Shrikant Sharma lauded the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making files public and fulfilling a long-term demand.<br/><br/>Mr. Sharma alleged that Congress has engaged in flattery of only one family and totally ignored the contribution of great freedom fighters due to its vote bank politics. Attacking the Congress, he said, while the entire country has expressed happiness over the files being made public, the opposition is doing petty politics on the issue.<br/><br/>Earlier, Congress leader Anand Sharma had said the way Prime Minister declassified all files related to Netaji raises doubts about his intentions. He said the Government is trying to belittle the stalwarts of freedom struggle like Jawaharlal Nehru.
