Nepal's registration of constitution amendment bill an important step: India

India says it's consistent position has been peace, stability and progress of Nepal is in the interest of both India and Nepal. It has always been supportive of initiatives of Nepal government to meet the aspirations of all sections of its society through dialogue and constitutional processes. <br/><br/>Replying to a media query, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said as part of the ongoing efforts, the registering of a Constitution Amendment Bill in the Nepali Parliament on 29th of last month is an important step. He said, India hopes that all sides will remain closely engaged and the ongoing efforts would be concluded successfully. <br/><br/>The spokesperson said India as close and friendly neighbour of Nepal, will continue to extend all support for Nepal's peace, stability and accelerated economic development in accordance with the priorities of the people and government of Nepal.
