Nepal's PM Sher Bahadur Deuba condoles families of people killed in earthquake; Strong tremors felt in Delhi-NCR

Nepal's Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has condoled to the families of those who lost their lives in a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, in the wee hours today. Expressing heartfelt condolences in a tweet, Mr Deuba added that he has instructed the relevant agencies to arrange immediate and proper treatment of the injured and the victims in the affected areas.<br />''<br />''At least six persons have been killed and five injured in the earthquake that struck Doti district. Close to ten houses had collapsed in the quake. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at a local health facility. Security personnel from Nepal Police, Nepali Army, local representatives and locals are jointly conducting rescue and relief operations in the affected area.<br />''<br />''The embassy of India in Kathmandu has also expressed condolences on the tragic loss of lives in the earthquake. It extended prayers for the bereaved families and wished for speedy recovery for the injured.<br />''<br />''Many aftershocks had been felt after the two bigger quakes throughout the night. Strong tremors from the earthquake were also felt in Delhi. Aftershocks were also recorded in other areas of the Indian subcontinent.<br />''<br />''Talking to AIR News, Director of the National Center for Seismology Dr. Om  Prakash  Mishra said that after the analysis of the data recorded by the agency it was found that Uttarkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi National Capital Region felt the shock but no damage of properties was reported. <br />
