Nepal's Parliament will meet this afternoon to hold the 7th round of voting to elect a new Prime Minister. Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and his Nepali Congress rival Ram Chandra Poudel are in the electoral race. Both of them failed to muster the required majority to get elected in the previous six rounds of polling held since 27th of July. In the existing 599-member Parliament, a winning candidate requires 300 votes to get elected.
