In Nepal, a major partner in the ruling alliance – Nepali Congress today warned that it would pull out of CPN(UML)-led government if the UML law makers vote against its party candidate Ram Chandra Poudel in the prime ministerial election slated for Wednesday.Talking to newsmen after a meeting of the top leaders of the two ruling parties in Kathmandu today, Nepali Congress leader Bimalenda Nidhi said his party has urged for the support of the UML in the Prime Ministerial election and warned it would call back all its ministers if the UML lawmakers chose to vote against the Nepali Congress candidate Poudel in the 17th round of voting scheduled for Wednesday.CPN(UML) has however requested the Nepali Congress to withdraw its lone candidate from the Prime Ministerial election to pave way for starting afresh the process of forming a new government. CPN (UML) central committee has already decided to vote against the Nepali Congress candidate Ram Chandra Poudel.AIR Kathmandu Correspondent reports that hectic political parleys have begun with just two days left for the 17th round of voting to elect a new Prime Minister after the winter session of parliament started from Sunday.
