Newly-elected Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, has arrived in New Delhi today on a four-day visit to India. Mr Prachanda will be accorded ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan tomorrow morning. The visiting dignitary will visit Nathpa Jhakri Hydropower Project in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.<br/><br/>This is Mr Prachanda's first foreign bilateral visit after, he assumed office last month. The visit will provide an opportunity for both the sides to discuss issues of mutual interest and seek ways to strengthen the age-old friendly ties. Earlier this week, Nepal's Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat had visited New Delhi and met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Both leaders had wide-ranging talks covering the entire gamut of bilateral relations.
