Nepalese PM expands his cabinet for the fourth time

Nepal’s Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal has expanded his cabinet for the fourth time on Wednesday. He administered the oath of office and secrecy to fourteen ministers in the presence of President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at Shital Niwas in Kathmandu. He inducted six ministers and four ministers of state from UCPN (Maoist), three ministers and a state minister from Madhesi Janadhikar Forum(MJF) CPN (ML)and CPN (United) .MJF Chairman has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs. Deputy Prime minister and Maoist leader in the government Krishna Bahadur Mahara who held the Communication portfolio has been appointed Home Minister.UML leader Ghanashyam Bhusal has been sworn in the minister without portfolio.The expansion of the cabinet has taken place exactly three months after the formation of the Khanal led government.
