Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Loktantrik (MJF-L) Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadhar, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Chairman Mahanta Thakur, and Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato left Kathmandu for India Wednesday afternoon. They are on a five day visit. Addressing a press conference at the Airport in Kathmandu, Mr Bijaya Kumar Gachhadhar said they are heading to New Delhi at the invitation of the Government of India. The leaders are to convene meetings with Congress-I President Sonia Gandhi, Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna, among other senior leaders, while in India. They said they will hold talks on the peace process, constitution and other issues. The parties–MJF-L, TMLP, and Sadbhawana–are against joining the current government in Nepal.
