Nepalese Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai met National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon and Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao in New Delhi yesterday amidst India's attempt at reconciliation between the warring parties in Nepal. Mr. Bhattarai's meeting comes in the wake of New Delhi's serious concerns over the situation in the Himalayan nation. During the meetings, Mr. Bhattarai is understood to have discussed the situation in his country.
