As per reports, in the year 2022, 13627 more trekkers visited the most popular trekking route of Annapurna Circuit as compared to the year 2021 when only 2,273 tourists visited the place. As per reports from Annapurna Conservation Area Project Tourist CheckPoint, among a total of 15,900 foreign tourists, 10,364 were men and 5,536 were women. The highest number of tourists was from France, at 2,012.<br />''<br />''The Annapurna Circuit is one of the world's classic long-distance hiking trails, and still one of Nepal's most popular treks. The Annapurna Circuit is a 12 to 21-day route that begins in the lush green villages of the Himalayan foothills. It takes trekkers over the 5,416 m high Thorong La Pass and down to the Tibetan-influenced temples and communities of the Mustang Valley. The entrance to the Annapurna circuit is Lamjung in Besisahar Municipality-7. Five districts namely Lamjung, Manang, Kaski, Mustang and Myagdi are connected by this trekking route.</span><br />
