Nepal top clash with Maldives in 15th Nehru Cup football tournament today

The South Asian rivals Nepal and Maldives will lock their horns today in the 15th edition of the Nehru Cup football tournament. The second league match will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi at 7 in the evening today.Nepal who begins their campaign in the tournament with a match against the top-ranked South Asian nation, will be looking to avenge a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Maldives. Though, the teams are being predicted as evenly matched but in their 13 encounters so far, statistics favor Maldives who have five win to their credits. The Himalyan Nation has won in just three occasions while Four matches between the two teams have ended in draws.
