In Nepal , the task force formed to settle disputes in the new constitution has decided to propose a mixed model with both the President and Prime Minister to share executive powers in the new constitution. The taskforce led by Sadbhawan party leader Laxman Lal Karna today decided to propose the model in which the executive power rests upon the President and is aided by the Prime Minister with limited powers to run the day to day administration. It has proposed to have a President directly elected from the people and a Prime Minister elected by the Parliament. Our Kathmandu correspondent reports, the task force formed a week ago will submit its report to the sub-committee of the Constitutional Committee in its next meeting.
