In Nepal's Tarai region at Janakpurdham, several ponds and lakes were decorated with coloured fabrics and lights for Chhath Puja. Thousands of Devotees celebrated Chhath in these ponds by offering fruits, traditional sweets like Thekua and kasadh to the setting Sun.
