Former Prime Minister of Nepal and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachand's son Prakash Dahal passed away in Kathmandu this morning due to heart attack. He was 36. <br/><br/>President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chief and Former Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli , Rashtriya Janata Party Nepal leader Rajendra Mahto and leaders across party line have condoled the untimely demise of Prakash Dahal. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri also paid tribute to the departed soul.<br/><br/>Prakash Dahal was cremated on the bank of Bagmati river at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu this evening. His father Prachanda performed the last rites. Prakash was secretary to his father Prachanda and Politburo and Central Committee member of CPN (Maoist-Centre).

He was rushed to Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu at 5.50 in the morning. <br/><br/>According to hospital Prakash died before he was brought to the hospital. He was 36. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chief and Former Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli , Rashtriya Janata Party Nepal leader Rajendra Mahto and leaders across party line have condoled the untimely demise of Prakash Dahal. His body was kept at CPN Maoist Centre HQ in Kathmandu where leaders of various political parties, cadres of CPN Maoist Centre and common people paid homage to the departed leader.<br/><br/>Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri also paid tribute to the departed soul. His last rites will be performed on the bank of Bagmati river at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu this evening. Prakash was secretary to his father Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Politburo and Central Committee member of CPN (Maoist-Centre).
