Nepal Prez stresses on age old bilateral friendly ties

Nepalese President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has stressed on the age old friendly ties between India and Nepal and pointed out this has been nurtured with passage of time. He said that relations between the two nations are heading in right direction. He was talking to media persons in Haridwar.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Nepalese President reached Haridwar from New Delhi in noon and first went to Doodhadhari Ashram where he sought blessings from Ashram saints and then headed to Har-Ki-Pauri VIP ghat for dip. Here along with family members he took holy dip in river Ganga in the ongoing MahaKumbh fair. After this the President cavalcade headed towards NeelDhara mela area at Pilot Baba’s Ashram cum camp.<br/><br/> Here he took blessings of Pilot Baba and was honoured by Baba too. Here he also registered his profile in the documentation record book of his family Purohit. <br/><br/>Later President went to Yog Guru Swami Ramdev’ s Pantajnali yogpeeth and a chat with Yog Guru. Sri Yadav himself, a surgeon, lauded the efforts of Swami Ramdev in spreading healthy life concepts and Yoga not only in Indian but also around the world and wished ‘such projects as carried out by Patanjali Yogpeeth could be replicated in Nepal too’.
