Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has urged top leaders of major political parties to work together to hold elections in the country. In a meeting held at Kathmandu to discuss the current political situation of the country, Ms Bhandari said, it is the duty of the parties to contribute to the constitutional development by respecting and protecting the Constitution achieved after a long and arduous struggle.<br/><br/>Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and leaders of all major political parties were present in the meeting. As per the constitutional provision, three-tier elections for local, provincial and Parliament in Nepal should be completed by 21st January next year.
