Nepal president to visit India this month

Nepal's President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav will visit India from 15th of this month. The cabinet, in its meeting yesterday approved a 27-member official team led by Tourism Minister Sarat Singh Bhandari, who will accompany the President Yadav during his three-day maiden visit to India. During his stay in New Delhi, President Yadav will meet his Indian counterpart Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and other leaders. AIR Kathmandu Correspondent reports this will be the first visit of Dr. Yadav to any foreign country after he assumed the high office as the first President of Nepal on 23rd July 2008, following the declaration of the country a federal, democratic republic on 28th May in 2008.
