Nepal’s President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav today held a meeting with the top leaders of the CPN-UML, UCPN (Maoist) and Nepali Congress at Kathmandu today. The meeting assumes significance following Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal announcement that he will resign if there is no concrete action on the peace process by the 13th of this month. Emerging from the meeting, Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala said that he informed the President that the responsibility lies with the Maoists as the ball is in their court. With less than a month for the extended term of the Constituent Assembly to come to an end, there has not been much progress in the peace process and Constitution drafting.
