The President of Nepal Dr.Rambaran Yadav has called for greater ties between India and Nepal. Addressing a function on the foundation day of the Medical College of Kolkata today, Dr.Yadav said that the democratic movements in his country have taken inspiration from India. He urged the medical fraternity to come forward for treatment of downtrodden people. West Bengal Chief Minister Mr.Buddhadev Bhattarcharjee was also present on the occasion. AIR correspondent reports that the medical college of Kolkata was first of its kind in the country which was established in the year of 1834. Dr.Yadav is one of the alumni of this institution.
