In Nepal, with just two days left for the election of the new Prime Minister political parties have intensified their internal and bilateral discussions on government formation.The Unified CPN(Maoist) in its central committee meeting on Monday decided to make all efforts to form a Maoist led government by Tuesday. Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Maoist Vice Chairman Narayankaji Shrestha said the party will support a Jhalnath Khanal-led CPN(UML) government if it fails to garner enough support to form a Maoist led government. The party held separate meetings with the CPN(ML) and CPN(United) to seek their support for government formation. CPN(UML) is holding is central committee meeting this evening to decide party's stand on the government formation.
