Nepal PM to be on 5-day visit to India from August 23

Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba will be on a five day visit to India from 23rd of this month.<br/><br/>In a release, the External Affairs Ministry said today that this is Mr Deuba's first visit abroad after assuming the office of Prime Minister of Nepal in June this year. A high-level delegation will accompany the Nepalese Prime Minister.<br/><br/>During his stay in India, the visiting dignitary will call-on the President and Vice President of India and will hold talks with the Prime Minister. The External Affairs Minister and other Ministers will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal.<br/><br/>Apart from official engagements in New Delhi, the Prime Minister of Nepal will visit Hyderabad, Tirupati and Bodh Gaya.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports that the upcoming visit will provide an opportunity to both the sides for holding wide-ranging discussions on issues of mutual interest, and advancing age old, special ties of friendship between the two countries. In recent years, India-Nepal partnership has witnessed significant growth in all areas of cooperation.<br/>
