Nepal’s Prime Minister Madhav Kuumar Nepal today inaugurated the four day Kathmandu Global Tiger Workshop 2009 calling for regional cooperation for trans-border conservation efforts to save tigers and its natural habitat. Stating that poaching and habitat loss are main problems facing the conservationists, he stressed on effective trans-border cooperation to ensure better conservation in the trans-border area.
