In Nepal, the new Prime Minister, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai on Tuesday met with Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala at Kathmandu. Prime Minister Bhattarai urged the Nepali Congress to join the government and the peace process, the two leaders also discussed drafting of the constitution. After the meeting Mr. Koirala said the Nepali Congress will remain a constructive opposition.He said the Prime Minister should complete the past agreements and finish the regrouping of the Maoist combatants in forty-five days as assured by them. The Nepali Congress president urged the Mr. Bhattari to remove the mistrust by taking the peace process to its logical end.A day after being sworn in the Prime Minister has begun to put the task of forming his government. He met with the Nepali Congress president this morning trying to get their support to his government. Later the Maoist Standing Committee met to nominate those who would join the government.The Committee decided to hand over the responsibility to the Chairman Puspha Kamal Dahal, Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.Party Spokesman said the names will be finalized after consultations with its alliance partners. Only the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijay Kumar Gacchadar was sworn on Monday.
