In Nepal, top leaders of the three major political parties – Nepali Congress, CPN(UML) and the opposition Unified CPN(Maoist) have agreed to end the current political deadlock at the earliest. Meanwhile the Maoist sponsored indefinite bandh entered its fourth day today, totally paralysing normal life in Kathmandu and other parts of the country. The meeting attended by Maoist Chairman Prachanda, CPN(UML) Chief Jhalanath Khanal and Acting President of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala ended inconclusively late this afternoon, agreeing to continue the dialogue process to find an amicable solution to the current political crisis at the earliest. <br/>Talking to newsmen Maoist Vice President Narayan Kaji Shrestha said his party will carry forward talks and agitation alongside to arrive at a consensus on formation of national unity government. Nepali Congress Spokesperson Arjun Narsing K.C. stressed the need for a package solution to resolve the current crisis saying there is no alternative to dialogue to arrive at a consensus. <br/>AIR Kathmandu Correspondent reports that the top leaders focussed their discussions on six major issues including number and modality of integration of Maoist army into national security forces, power sharing and extension of the term of the constituent assembly among others. <br/>
