In Nepal, much awaited parliamentary and provincial elections will be held tomorrow. In the first phase, polling for 37 constituencies of House of Representatives and 74 seats of Provincial Assemblies in 32 hilly and mountainous districts of northern Nepal will be held. <br/><br/>Voting will begin at 7 o'clock in the morning and continue till 5 PM. Our correspondent reports that Nepal-India and Nepal-China border in poll bound districts has been sealed and elaborate security arrangements have been made to conduct free, fair and peaceful elections. <br/><br/>4465 polling centers have been set up for more than thirty one lakh voters. 702 candidates including Former Prime Minister and Naya Shakti Party Nepal, Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai and former Deputy PM and Senior leader of CPN (Maoist Centre) Narayan Kaji Shrestha are trying their luck in the first phase. <br/><br/>International observers from various countries including European Union and India have been invited to monitor the elections. Polling for the second and final round will be held on December 7 in remaining 45 districts. The historic elections are being seen as Nepal's final step to federal democracy and expected to bring much needed political stability in the country. <br/><br/>As per the new constitution of Nepal local, province and parliament elections need to be completed by January 21 next year. Local elections have already been completed.
