The Nepal parliament has started discussion on much awaited Constitution Amendment Bill. After house accepted the Constitution Amendment Bill (second amendment)-2073 with voice vote last evening, speaker Onsari Gharti allowed members to begin the discussion.<br/><br/>There will be clause-wise discussion on the bill before putting it for vote. The Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN), which was formed in April this year after the merger of six Madesh-centric parties, had been been demanding constitution amendment on various issues including language, delineation of federal provinces and citizenship.<br/><br/>While ruling Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Centre and other coalition partners are in favour of the amendment, the opposition-CPN-UML and some others parties are opposing it.
