In Nepal, the parliament resumed its proceeding on Wednesday after Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal expressed his commitment to resign by 13 th of this month if the peace process does not have any significant progress. The statement was read out by the Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari on behalf of the Prime Minister.The Opposition Nepali Congress had been obstructing the proceeding of the house for more than a week demanding the resignation from the Prime Minister as according to the five point deal signed during the extension of the term of the Constituent Assembly. The Prime Minister after swearing in the Ministers on the first of this month had said he would resign by the 13th if the major tasks of the peace process do not move forward.
