Nepal Parliament debates on budget for year 2011-12

In Nepal, discussions on the budget for the Fiscal year 2011-12 has begun in the Parliament in Kathmandu Monday .The budget which was presented by the previous government in July is being discussed after a gap of two months following the political changes .Finance Minister Barshaman Pun tabled the Appropriation bill for the fiscal year. He said that the new government would not make any changes in the allocations made by the previous government. The house today is discussing the allocations to the ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation, Youth and Sports, Agriculture, Women and Child Welfare, Irrigation and Land reform ministry. The discussions will continue till Thursday.
