<span style="color: #222222;">The Constitutional Council of Nepal has recommended Navin Kumar Ghimire as the new Chief Commissioner of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA). </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A meeting of the Council held in Kathmandu today proposed Mr. Ghimire's name for the top post of CIAA. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He has been working as the acting Chief Commissioner of CIAA since February this year after the retirement of Deep Basnyat. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Ghimre joined CIAA as Commissioner in April 2015. He will now appear before the Parliamentary Hearing Committee. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the constitution of Nepal, parliamentary hearing shall be conducted before the appointment of CIAA chief.</span><br />''
