In Nepal, Mr. Parmanand Jha retook the oath of office and secrecy as Vice President, both in his mother tongue – Maithili and Nepali languages. President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Jha at a swearing-in ceremony held at Rashtrpati Bhavan in Kathmandu this afternoon.<br/><br/> AIR Kathmandu Correspondent reports, Mr. Jha, clad in Nepal's national dress – Daura Sural and traditional cap, took the oath of office . With this, the post of the Vice-President which remained defunct for more than five months after Mr. Jha refused to retake oath in Nepali language in August last year, became fully functional from today.
