Nepal has sought increased bilateral co-operation with India. The visiting President of the Himalyan nation, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav told AIR that India and Nepal are having good bilateral relations traditionally and it needs to be strengthened further.<br/><br/>Dr. Ram Baran Yadav is on a four-day state visit to India. He was given a ceremonial reception at the forecourts of Rashtrapathi Bhavan this morning. Several agreements are likely to be signed between the two countries in various sectors following a delegation-level talk in New Delhi this afternoon. The visiting dignitary will also have talks with the Vice President, Mr. Hamid Ansari, the Finance Minister, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, the Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram and the External Affairs Minister, Mr. S.M. Krishna. The Chairperson of UPA, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and the leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Mrs. Sushma Swaraj will also call on him. Dr. Yadav would call on his counterpart, Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil later in the evening. <br/><br/>The Nepalese President arrived in New Delhi on Monday.<br/>
