Nepal government has extended the tenure of Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons by one year. <br/><br/>A decision to extend the term was taken in the Cabinet meeting held in Kathmandu yesterday.Two years tenure of these commissions was to end yesterday. <br/><br/>Both the commissions were set up on 10 February 2015 after the Comprehensive Peace Agreement of 2006 between the Nepal Government and then CPN-Maoist to look into human rights violations occurred during 10-year civil war.
