In Nepal, election for the National Assembly is being held today. <br/><br/>Polling for the upper house of parliament will begin at 10 AM and continue till 3 in the evening. <br/><br/>Total 52 candidates are in fray for 32 seats, while 24 candidates have already been elected unopposed. <br/><br/>The National Assembly will have 59 members. <br/><br/>All seven provinces will elect 8 members each through an Electoral College comprising of members of State Assemblies and chief and deputy chiefs of local bodies. <br/><br/>Remaining 3 members will be nominated by the President on recommendation of the government.<br/><br/>
