The Election Commission of Nepal has invited international observers for upcoming provincial and parliamentary elections. The commission has issued a notice inviting applications from the international organisations, communities and individuals to observe the elections of the House of Representatives and State Assemblies scheduled on November 26 and December 7. According to notice applications can be submitted till September 30. The basic objective of inviting international observers is to witness overall management of elections and contribute in conducting elections in free,fair and credible manner. The other objective is to develop and strengthen mutual relations with international organisations and communities in electoral management process to maintain the credibility of the Election Commission of Nepal.
