In Nepal counting of votes for 110 seats of House of Representative and 220 of state assemblies under proportional representation is underway. More than 70 percent votes have been counted so far. Left alliance is leading. As per the latest reports CPN (UML) has got more than 25 lakh votes. Nepali Congress is on the second place with more than 24 lakh popular votes. <br/><br/>Left alliance partner CPN (Maoist Center) has got over 10 lakh votes. The two major parties of Madhes, Sanghiya Samjawadi Forum Nepal and Rashtriya Janata Party Nepal are on fourth and fifth position. More than 1 crore voters had exercised their franchise in recently concluded parliament and state assemblies elections. <br/><br/>Results of 165 seats of parliament and 330 of seven provincial assemblies under direct election have already been declared. Left alliance has won maximum seats. Counting of proportional representation is expected to be completed in next two days and final results likely to be announced by the weekend.
