In Nepal, the Constitutional Committee met today after a gap of one month to review the progress on the constitution drafting. Constitutional Committee Chairman Nilamber Acharya expressed dissatisfaction with the progress in the drafting process as there is only one month for the deadline for the drafting of the new constitution. Emerging after the meeting in Kathmandu he said if the major parties are not serious it would be difficult to complete the process in time .UCPN (Maoist) Chairman and the coordinator of the sub-committee under the Constitutional Committee Puspha Kamal Dahal submitted the a progress report on the contentious issues that it looked into. The Committee had not been able to met as the major political parties continued to be busy in their intra-party disputes The next meeting of the Constitutional Committee would be held on Wednesday.
