Nepali New Year 2074 is being celebrated in various parts of the country. Our correspondent reports that Nepal follows Vikram Samvat calendar and first day of Baisakh celebrated as new year across the country. <br/><br/>People offered special prayers from early morning at Pashupatinath and other temples on the occasion of new year. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has greeted people on this occasion. He also launched a health campaign 'My Year 2074: I Healthy , My Nation Healthy' in Kathmandu. <br/><br/>At the famous tourist spot Pokhara thousand of people arrived to celebrate new year. 14th Fewa festival is also being organised at the bank of Fewa lake to promote tourism, culture and food. Boat race, 'Run for Fun', folk dance and concerts are being organised during the 5 day festival.
