Nepal: 24 people missing after swept away by flooding in Sankhuwasabha; PM expresses sorrow over big loss of lives, property due to floods & landslides

<span style="color: #222222;">After the Hewa Khola River of Koshi Province in Nepal became swollen on Saturday night under heavy rains, twenty-two people are still unaccounted for after they were swept away by the flooding in the Sankhuwasabha District. One person was killed after he was swept away by the floods. District Police Office said that 17 workers employed in the under-construction Super Hewa Khola Hydropower Project at local Chainpur-4 have gone missing after they were swept away in the flood. Two workers of the Hydropower project have been seriously injured.
