In Nepal, the first phase of the 11th Census has begun today. The nationwide census being conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics is being conducted in two phases. The first phase which has begun today will continue till June 1st. The second phase will begin from 17th of next month and conclude on 27th June. In the first phase around 8500 supervisors have been deployed in the first phase.In the first phase, only general information like number of household, number of family members and head of family and their occupations will be collected. For the first time ,the central bureau of statistics has prepared questionnaires in ten languages for the convenience of respondents who do not understand Nepali.
