In Nepal 17 ministers of CPN Maoist Center have en masse resigned from Deuba cabinet. <br/><br/>Senior party leader and Minister without portfolio Giriraj Mani Pokharel submitted resignation letter to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba after a cabinet meeting at Kathmandu today.<br/><br/>On October 17 last year Prime Minister Deuba had stripped portfolios of Maoist Center ministers after party forged electoral alliance with opposition CPN UML. <br/><br/>However, ministers continued in the government without portfolio. CPN UML and CPN Maoist Center left alliance has registered landslide victory in the recently held parliament and provincial assembly elections. <br/><br/>The new government is likely to be formed after the election of National Assembly, the upper house of parliament, scheduled on February 7.
