<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Education Annpurna Devi has said that National Education Policy 2020 is a key initiative to help realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Panch Pran vision of developed India by 2047. She was speaking at the inauguration of Shikshak Parv 2022 and launch of new initiatives relating to Education and Skill Development, in New Delhi today. Ministers of State for Education Dr. Subhas Sarkar and Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh were also present at the event. Discussing the importance of holistic education, Annpurna Devi said, teachers should help imbibe development of scientific as well as moral values in the students.    <br />''<br />''Speaking on the ocassion, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh appreciated the strength of mind and character shown by the teachers during COVID-19. He said that the teachers adapted to innovative ways of teaching, learnt new strategies to engage children and helped revamp the teaching-learning approach altogether. Dr. Subhas Sarkar also underlined the important role of teaching community saying that teachers are not just educators, but also guide for life. He said that innovative methods are the need of the hour to realise the vision of National Education Policy-2020.<br />''<br />''The Ministers presented the "CBSE Honour for Excellence in Teaching and School Leadership 2021-22 awards" to 19 Principals and Teachers from CBSE affiliated schools. They also conferred AICTE's National Technical Teachers Award 2022 to 14 faculty members. The Ministers also launched various initiatives taken by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, during the event. </span>
