In the final of the Nehru Cup football tournament, India Cameroon match is now in progress at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. In the evenly contested game, each side scored one goal in the first half. All India Radio has been broadcasting live commentary alternately in Hindi and English on the match from 6.55 P.M. onwards.While two-time champions India will seek to make it three in a row after wins in 2007 and 2009, Cameroon are chasing a maiden title in their first appearance at the invitational tournament which started in 1982. In the last match between the two sides in this tournament, Cameroon defeated India, 1-0. After the end of the round robin stage, Cameroon were the table leaders with 3 wins and 1 draw from 4 matches, while India stood second with 2 wins, 1 draw and a defeat.The Maldives, Nepal and Syria were the other participants in the tournament.
