The negotiations on the proposed Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) in Criminal Matters between India and Belgium were held in New Delhi today.<br/><br/>An official release said, the meeting was held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. The Belgium delegation was led by Steven Limbourg, General Counsellor and Head of the Directorate-III Criminal Law of the Directorate General Legislation, Fundamental Rights and Freedoms , while the Indian delegation was led by Bipin Mallick, Additional Secretary in the Home Ministry.
